Lotus Cars USA has announced the 2009 Lotus Elise Purist Edition, available for order immediately. The Purist Edition is an Elise built with the Sport Pack and everything from the Touring Pack except the iPod interface, leather-trimmed transmission tunnel, and leather door inserts. While not featuring anything special, the Purist Edition is priced to move at just $43,995. It’s a fantastic deal when you consider a base Elise starts at $47,250.

The Purist Edition is available in three colors: Ardent Red, Saffron Yellow, and Monaco White.
