Watch as Tony Shute displays a presentation and offers insight on the design and development of the Lotus Evora.
As the program manager for Lotus Cars, Shute has been closely involved on many Lotus projects over the years including the Carlton, Elise S1, Evora, and others.

Some details you may not know:
- The front module was initially crash tested as a separate unit
- Steering units are contracted to a Czech company specializing in steering rebuilds
- The fuel tank is made of stainless steel to meet U.S. standards
- Steel, not aluminum, is used in the construction of the rear module in order to cope with high exhaust temperatures
- Headlight tooling came from China, then sourced to UK suppliers
